Every winter I go on vacay, and it’s always when something goes wrong. Something breaks, goes wrong, a break in happens. I hate going away as there is always a littel dread of “what’s gonna happen now?”. This is the fist vacation I can remember in a long time when something didn’t go wrong, I was in shock, LOL.

So I was back for a few days & counting my blessings nothing went wrong, especially with the extreme cold we had the last few weeks. Heat was fine, we were golden. Then all hell broke loose! Tuesday I received a text, “NO HEAT” I came in for my class at noon and knew something was really wrong. Well after the tech came I was given the bad news. Our 18 year old furnace had offically died. Nothing could save the old girl, she had expired.

Now if you have ever had furnace problems at home you know it’s not a small expense. Now imagine an industrial furnace that has been retrofit together to give us the heat needed to heat 1000sq/ft to 40 degrees. Yep, you guessed it… expensive as hell.

Well furnace is replaced. Essentially we have a new furnace and its working so well. Heat was amazing last night, runs much quieter too. But that was a huge hit to us, after just paying off the last of the Covid debts etc. It was such a hard pill to swallow especially at this time of year.
